CODEORGAN

Codeorgan

FIRSTLY, THE CODEORGAN SCANS THE PAGE CONTENTS AND REMOVES ALL
CHARACTERS NOT FOUND IN THE MUSICAL SCALE (A TO G), AND THEN ANALYSES THE REMAINING CHARACTERS TO FIND THE MOST COMMONLY USED 'NOTE'. IF THIS IS AN EVEN NUMBER THE PAGE IS TRANSLATED IN TO THE MAJOR PENTATONIC SCALE OF THAT PARTICULAR NOTE, IT BECOMES MINOR IF THERE IS AN UNEVEN NUMBER.

SECONDLY, THE CODEORGAN DEFINES WHICH SYNTHESIZER TO USE. THIS IS
BASED UPON THE TOTAL NUMBER CHARACTERS USED ON THE WEBPAGE – THERE ARE CURRENTLY 10 SYNTHESIZER EFFECTS AND THE ONE CHOSEN IS PICKED BASED UPON THE PERCENTAGE OF CONTENT.

LASTLY, THE CODEORGAN SELECTS A DRUM LOOP BASED UPON THE RATIO OF CHARACTERS ON THE PAGE VERSUS THE NUMBER OF CHARACTERS THAT ARE ACTUALLY MUSICAL NOTES – THERE ARE CURRENTLY 10 DIFFERENT DRUM LOOPS TO PICK FROM.

GO AND MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER.

How to Delete a Dll File

How to Delete a Dll File: "Windows relies on several .dll files, also known as Dynamic Link Library files, to perform common functions. From time to time, you may need to delete a .dll file because of a software conflict or because you're updating an older .dll with a newer version. When you do this, you must be careful to not only move the file to the Recycle Bin, but also to unregister it from Windows.

Instructions :
  1. Step 1
Click the 'Start' button in Window,s and select 'Search' from the Start Menu.
  2. Step 2
Click the 'All files and folders' link in the Search window, and type the name of the .dll file you want to delete into the empty field. Click the 'Search' button to begin the search.
  3. Step 3
Locate the file in the search results and take note of the file path, which indicates where the file is stored. This is very important, because you will need to know the file path for the last steps, so you may want to write it down. Typically, .dll files will be found in 'C:\Windows\System32,' but this can vary depending on the specific type of .dll file and the version of Windows you're using.
  4. Step 4
Right-click on the .dll file in the search results, and select 'Delete' from the options that pop up. This will move the file to the Recycle Bin.
  5. Step 5
Click the 'Start' button in Windows, and select 'Run' from the Start Menu. Type 'cmd' into the empty field, and click the 'Run' button.
  6. Step 6
Type 'regsvr32 /u C:\filepath\filename.dll' into the command line, substituting the specific file path and name of the file for 'filepath' and 'filename,' respectively. For example, if you wanted to delete the file 'windows.dll' from the file path 'C:\Windows\System32,' you would type 'regsvr32 /u C:\Windows\System32\windows.dll.' Press 'Enter' after typing this line to unregister the .dll file from your system, completing the process.
Note : Deleting certain .dll files may cause system instability and may diminish functionality. Make sure you know what you're doing before deleting or unregistering a .dll file.

Keyboard with video editing controls

Keyboard with video editing controls: "
If you are editing videos, you’ll want something that helps you do it quickly and accurately. A real jog/shuttle wheel helps. Especially when it’s built into your keyboard. Of course whatever video editing software you are using has on screen interfaces that do the same things, but you still have to use a mouse and cursor to control them.

The GR100 keyboard adds just such a shuttle wheel so that
you can turn to move quickly through a clip, and has an inner dial to locate the exact frame you are searching for. Some buttons around the dial allow shortcuts to other editing functions.

The GR100 is from CodeAct and works with GReditor and other popular editing suites like Adobe Premiere and Pinnacle Studio. It comes in both Japanese and English versions for $275.

HTC Desire official: Nexus One with HTC Sense

HTC Desire official: Nexus One with HTC Sense: "

HTC have officially announced the HTC Desire – the handset previously known as the HTC Bravo – at Mobile World Congress 2010 this week. The smartphone is, in essence, HTC’s own-brand version of the Google Nexus One, tailored to a European market. As with the Nexus One there’s a 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and Android 2.1; you also get the same, 1GHz Snapgragon processor. The key differences are the inclusion of the latest version of HTC Sense, the omission of active noise cancellation, and the use of an optical joystick rather than a physical trackball.

As on the HTC Legend, the company’s newest Sense build does duty with improved social network integration and the new Friend Stream unified update app. HTC have also done some work on their browser, adding the intelligent text-reflow support missing from the regular Android app, as well as Flash Lite 4, pinch-zoom and the ability to long-press and select webpage text then instantly perform a Google search, Google Translate or look it up in the dictionary.

The Desire also gets the tight corporate support partially absent on the Nexus One, with Exchange email, calendar, contacts and task functionality, and HTC have added in new Mail tabs – to show unread or flagged messages, or those with an appointment request – together with tweaking their threaded message support. Meanwhile there’s also a new Calendar widget which now offers list view as well as month view.

What you don’t get is voice text entry, which is currently a Google-exclusive feature, nor support for US 3G bands. The Desire has quadband GSM/EDGE and dualband (900/2100) UMTS/HSPA, along with WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS/AGPS.

HTC reckon that, because they’ve left out active noise cancellation, they can sell the Desire at a cheaper price than the Nexus One. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but the Desire should arrive in European and Asian markets “on just about every carrier” starting April 2010, as well as exclusively on Telstra in Australia. No word on any version suited to North American 3G bands – HTC say they have “no plans” for a straight US version, though they’re not counting out specially tailored carrier variants – but we wouldn’t be surprised to see Nexus One ROMs hacked to include HTC Sense proliferate around the time of the Desire’s launch.

Radeon HD 5830 video card

Radeon HD 5830 video card: "

Another rumor has popped up online that has AMD set to launch a new video card soon. The card in question is the Radeon HD 5830, which was said to be delayed not long ago. The new card is reportedly set to debut on February 25.
The card will have 1280 stream processors, 750MHz core, and 1GB of GDDR5 RAM clocked at 4000MHz according to reports. Pricing is unknown for the 5830. AMD is also supposedly going to unveil a new version of the HD5870 called the Eyefinity 6 edition after CeBIT.

The Eyefinity 6 version is supposed to have all the same features of the standard 5870 with a notable exception. The standard card sports HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort outputs. The Eyefinity 6 version will instead have six DisplayPort connections supporting six different displays from one video card along with an extra gigabyte of VRAM.

5 more Buzz tips: post by email, follow the Buzz team, and more

5 more Buzz tips: post by email, follow the Buzz team, and more: "Posted by Brian Stoler, Tech Lead, Google Buzz

1. Post by email. You can post buzz by emailing buzz@gmail.com — super handy for posting photos you take on your phone. Photos that you attach to your email will appear along with the subject line of your message. You can choose who can see posts you email into Buzz from the connected sites menu (click 'Buzz,' then 'Connected Sites').

2. Prevent your boring chat status messages from being posted to Buzz. By default, your chat status messages are posted to Buzz and shared with your chat contacts. Don't want a boring message like 'be right back' to turn into a Buzz post? Just put parentheses around it. If you don't want any of your chat status messages to get posted, you can always disconnect chat from the connected sites menu.

3. Look for the yellow line to see what's new. Can't figure out what's new on the Buzz tab? Posts and comments new since your last visit have a light yellow line along the left hand edge (if you're using a different theme the color may vary).

4. Link to a post. Each Buzz post has a permalink, so you can link to it. Click the down-arrow in the upper right-hand corner of a post, and select 'Link to this post.' Of course, you'lll only be able to see the posts you have access to.

5. Follow the Buzz team in Google Buzz. Visit buzz.google.com/googlebuzz and click 'Follow Google Buzz' to get updates about what we're working on and send us your feedback.
